On Thursday, March 22, 2007 the Henry W. Grady Health System Foundation and the Georgia Cancer Center of Excellence hosted a donor appreciation reception at the Edward C. Loughlin Jr. Radiation Oncology Center. Three awards were given to 2006 donors: the Caring Heart, Spirit of Hope and Outstanding Community Partner awards.

The Caring Heart Award went to the Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation. Eric and Danielle Beverly were there to receive the award. Eric is a tight end for the Atlanta Falcons.

The Spirit of Hope Award went to Peachtree Presbyterian Church. Johnny and Stacy Meyers were there to receive the award.

The Outstanding Community Partner Award went to the Four Season Hotel Atlanta. Denise Flanders, the hotel's general manager, and Noelle Crocker, the hotel's Run for Research co-chair were there to receive the award.
